Camp Glimmer sponsored by A Glimmer of Hope

Every summer, Camp Glimmer gives over 500 people that are disadvantaged or marginalized by society the opportunity to experience the joys of a first-class summer camp absolutely free! They also provide free tennis shoes and t-shirts to everyone. Campers enjoy nature hikes, team-building and leadership activities, nature lessons, tennis, basketball, tie dyeing and fun camp songs! All of this is made possible by generous sponsors like the Andy Roddick Foundation and The Austin Tennis Acadamy. 

Glimmer also sponsors Harmony for a day at Candlelight Ranch in Marble Falls, TX. Zip-lining, painting rocks and hanging out with the horses are some of our favorite things about Candlelight Ranch. Important Details for Harmony Campers...

• June 17, 18, & 19
• Bus will be leaving Harmony each morning at 9:00 sharp! Don't be late!! Camp staff have our days scheduled with fun activities. We don't want to make them wait on us if we arrive late. We must value and be respectful for everyone's time.  
• Dress for the warm weather and bring an umbrella if possible
• On the 19th, wear tennis shoes for Candlelight Ranch
• Lunch & bottled water will be provided on June 17 & 18
• Participants bring a lunch on June 19th. We won't have access to microwaves. Bottled water will be provided.
• Campers will arrive back at Harmony each day between 3:30 - 3:45. We aim to arrive at this time, however loading up our entire crew sometimes takes a little longer than we plan if unexpected things come up. Please be patient with us.
