Volunteer Opportunities at Harmony

Volunteers that work with Harmony clients must be college-aged or older and have a background check completed. The following is a list of activities that volunteers can help with.
  • Art Assistants
  • Music Assistants
  • Art Shows
  • Music Concerts
  • General Cleaning & Organizational Duties
  • Fundraising Events
  • Annual 4th of July Fundraiser in Luckenbach, TX
  • Annual Fall Carnival

During art and music shows, volunteers are needed to help with the preparation leading up to the events during the weeks before the show. Volunteers are needed to help serve food, greet guests as they arrive, help with the art that's sold and clean up afterwards. These events and concerts bring in a considerable amount of revenue that helps to keep the art and music programs going and are very important. We always welcome and appreciate extra help from volunteers.

Something that is always appreciated from volunteers is help sweeping, wiping tables, vacuuming, cleaning the front glass doors and organizing the art supplies and music equipment / stage area. These duties are important and help to keep the programs running smoothly. Volunteers who are willing to jump in and help out in these areas are very much appreciated!

If you would like to help Harmony out by becoming a volunteer, download the volunteer application below, fill it out and send it in or bring it in person.

Thank you for your willingness to help. We appreciate you!!!

What Does Harmony Do For Its Clients?

Harmony is the real deal, a nonprofit that brings joy, meaning and social connections to adults with developmental disabilities. The clients are showered with opportunities to express themselves through music, art and other creative endeavors, and their work adds beauty to the lives of others. These adults, who otherwise might be isolated, thrive in the Harmony environment." ~Mary Gordon Spence
